Good relationship: truths and myths. Which do you believe in?

Published 31-12-2019

Misconceptions about relationships can effectively spoil the joy of meeting new people or even lead to a break up. See which of these common opinions are not true.

Myth 1: you must find your half

This belief has its source in ancient times, and more precisely in the writings of the Greek philosopher Plato. We do not deny him wisdom, but believing that among the several billion people in the world only one suits you is simply wrong. People are not puzzles.

Myth 2: everything together

In the initial phase of a relationship, it's difficult for you to part with each other even for a moment. However, a healthy, good relationship is a relationship of two separate people. You don't have to spend every minute with each other, you can and even should have your own passions, friends or time for yourself.

Myth 3: love wins everything

Unfortunately, sometimes love is not enough for a relationship to last and be healthy for both sides. Certainly there will be smaller or bigger problems or differences of opinion in your life. Myth 5: lovers understand each other without words

In fact, couples who have been together for a long time know each other so well that they seem to read their thoughts. However, this is not necessary to create a good relationship. Being able to talk is also important.
